Children’s Carpet Tropics
The children’s carpet tropics was first created by Carpet Studio in 2016 for a private children’s bedroom. This carpet was made from natural English wool – an eco-friendly, hypoallergenic material that is completely safe for kids. The wool yarn was dyed and treated in the UK with protective finishing, which made the tropical colors especially bright and long-lasting.
Design and installation
The tropical theme was chosen to create a playful and lively atmosphere in the kids’ room. Thanks to its vibrant colors and detailed pattern, the children’s carpet tropics became a true centerpiece of the interior, bringing joy and energy to the space. With more than 300 shades of wool in our palette, our designers were able to perfectly balance the tones, ensuring harmony with the existing room décor.
Professional cleaning and restoration in 2020
In 2020, the client returned to us requesting professional deep cleaning and restoration. After four years of active use, the carpet showed natural wear but had no holes, cuts, or chemical damage. Our specialists performed a complete restoration cycle, which included:
- deep chemical cleaning using professional solutions unavailable in regular stores,
- pile treatment with shearing and polishing equipment,
- mechanical pile lifting followed by trimming and shearing.
Unlike ordinary cleaning companies, Carpet Studio has the same equipment we use during production, allowing us to fully restore carpets to their original look. The result was impressive: after the cleaning and pile treatment, the children’s carpet tropics looked 99% like new and perfectly matched the updated children’s interior.

Considering the carpet's size of over 12 square meters, it was possible to depict not only roads, bridges, and intersections but also an airport, a lake, railway tracks, and a train station.
