Bedroom Rug Geometric Design

The story of this project – a bedroom rug with geometric design – began in Odessa, where our client came to us with the idea of decorating the entire house with our handmade carpets. The project included several unique pieces: children’s carpets “Ocean Shore”, a stylish multi-level rug for the living room, and of course the bedroom rug geometric design you see in the photo.

From idea to realization

At first, we suggested creating a U-shaped rug that would surround the bed. However, the client declined this option, pointing out that at the time of ordering, the bed had not yet been delivered, so exact measurements could not be taken. Instead, we proposed an alternative solution: three separate rugs – one at the foot of the bed and two on each side. The design was calculated in such a way that all three rugs look like a single composition, while in fact, they are independent pieces. This approach gave freedom to the interior layout and added a strong accent to the bedroom space. Only a trained eye can notice that the rug at the foot of the bed is not physically connected with the side carpets. This detail became the highlight of the project.

Handmade craftsmanship and attention to detail

Each of our carpets, including this bedroom rug geometric design, is entirely handmade. Once the sketches are approved and the production contract is signed, our craftsmen begin their work. Normally, the process takes one and a half to two months – because handmade rug production requires patience, precision, and the mastery of tufters and finishers.
