CHILDREN’S CARPET TROPICS
The Tropics children’s carpet was designed and produced by the “Carpet Studio” in 2016. The carpet is made of environmentally friendly natural British wool.
The wool yarn is dyed and treated with protective materials in the UK as well, which is why the colours of the carpet are so vibrant. The design of the rug is perfect for a children’s room. In 2020, the customer requested a deep cleaning and restoration of the carpet.
The carpet did not require full restoration since there were no holes, cuts, or other mechanical or chemical damages. It had natural wear from four years of use and did not need partial pile replacement.
We performed a deep chemical cleaning of the carpet using modern equipment and professional cleaning agents (you won’t find these in stores). Such deep cleaning involves surface degradation of the carpet pile.
Regular cleaning services do not offer this, but as carpet manufacturers, we have the equipment for carving and polishing the carpet. After drying, the carpet underwent mechanical pile lifting, and it was newly polished and carved.

After the cleaning and renewal (restoration) process, the customer received a carpet that was 99% like new, and it fit perfectly into the new children’s room interior – kids grow, but carpets stay.
