Geometric Mystery Carpet
The Geometric Mystery carpet was designed by the Carpet Studio’s designers for an interior featuring many clean, straight lines and various volumes—such as a multi-tiered square glass table with massive rectangular cabinets with semi-open interior spaces, a fine straight parquet pattern, and a brickwork texture.
The task was to create a carpet sketch that seamlessly combined different pile heights, types of loops, and the colour scheme of the table, especially the interior spaces of its cabinets.
The carpet design proposed using a multi-level surface of uncut loops (bouclé) with an even colour alternation matching the interior spaces of the table’s cabinets, and various heights of cut pile loops (v-tuft) in a neutral beige-yellow colour.
It was decided not to introduce additional colours into the carpet to avoid overwhelming the interior.
Our skilled carpet makers successfully produced this complex, geometrically precise carpet, both in terms of dimensions and pile height.
