Why a long hallway rug is essential
The client came to Carpet Studio with a practical need: the 8-meter-long corridor connecting two houses was unheated, making it uncomfortable to walk through during winter. The solution was a long hallway rug that covered the floor entirely, adding warmth, comfort, and elegance.
Design inspired by stained glass
The distinctive feature of the project was that the glass doors on both ends of the corridor had identical stained-glass motifs. We took this pattern as the base and created a unique rug design that naturally continues the artistic theme of the interior.
Handmade precision
Our designers developed a sketch, while tufters and shearers brought it to life with the highest accuracy. The result was a luxurious long hallway rug with floral ornamentation, perfectly reflecting the palette and geometry of the stained glass. Each detail was handmade, making this rug one of a kind.
Color, texture, and harmony
The rug not only unified the corridor space but also emphasized its stylistic integrity. Just like our children’s rug “Tropics” became a playful highlight in a kid’s room, this long hallway rug became the central piece of the entire corridor design.
