This Stylish Custom Rug for Living Room was part of a larger custom project for a private home in a prestigious area of Odesa. From the very first call, the project had a personal touch, and we handled every detail with care. The result? A statement rug with layered texture, thoughtful execution, and undeniable visual impact.
The Story Behind the Rug
It all started with a casual phone call. A client, a friend of a friend, asked about possible discounts. My lighthearted answer was, “Let your friend call me himself.” A few weeks later, he did—and that set the wheels in motion.
I personally oversaw the entire process: from developing the design and consulting the client, to explaining our production capabilities and helping select the yarn quality. The result reflects this hands-on approach.
Unique Features of the Rug
- Four different pile heights: 12, 16, 20, and 58 mm
- Each layer carefully sculpted on the frame before tufting the next level
- Perfectly adapted to the layout and furnishings of the room
The tufting process was done in stages, with careful shearing between layers to create volume and depth. It was a complex task—but the outcome exceeded all expectations, both ours and the client’s.
The Result: A Stunning Centerpiece in the Living Room
Once the rug was laid out in the client’s living room, the reaction was immediate: WOW. The softness underfoot, the sculptural design, and the way it tied the room together made it an unforgettable addition to the space.
