Professional Cleaning Repair And Restoration Of Carpets This article is mainly for our past and future customers. We are often asked how and where our carpets can be cleaned. The answer is simple – we offer an additional service: cleaning and restoration of our carpets, and not only ours.

This carpet was custom-made by us over five years ago and has been bringing joy to its owners ever since. But now, it’s time for a deep cleaning. Since we are the manufacturers, we can provide the most thorough cleaning – we are not afraid of damaging the top wool layer of the carpet (unlike many dry cleaners, because during polishing, the surface will be restored).

Usually, general (initial) cleaning is done with alkaline cleaning agents. However, it’s important to note that stains caused by wine, juice, and other acidic substances should not be treated with alkaline agents first – it can make such stains permanent in wool fibers. That’s why it’s best to inform us about the origin of any major stains on your carpet.

This carpet was first cleaned with an alkaline agent. Our modern American equipment allows us to do deep cleaning, as the cleaning solution is sprayed deep into the carpet with a pressure of over 3 bar, and a powerful vacuum extracts the dissolved dirt from the entire carpet thickness. The initial cleaning is done using a wide nozzle, which removes general dirt and reveals stains that need extra treatment. These are the spots that become visible after the surface dirt is gone. But not all stains can be removed even with the strongest targeted chemicals. Some substances dye the wool pile, and removal can be extremely difficult. In such cases, only “surgical” repair is possible – but we’re manufacturers, and we can handle it!

After general cleaning, we proceed to manual spot cleaning using a narrow nozzle – this focuses all the machine’s power on specific areas. These are usually the lightest parts of the carpet and areas with stubborn stains not removed during the first step.

Since the initial cleaning used alkaline products, now it’s time to apply acid-based cleaning agents. They help remove acid-origin stains and also neutralize the effect of the alkaline cleaning, so leftover chemicals don’t start damaging the color or fiber of the carpet.

We make our carpets from high-quality wool, spun and dyed in the UK. Carpets made from this wool are extremely durable and retain their brightness and texture, even after powerful chemical treatments.

After cleaning, it’s time to dry the carpet. It should be dried horizontally and only with room-temperature air. Many professional cleaners can’t offer this due to a high volume of orders and lack of space for proper drying.

Once fully dry, we begin restoration – a service that only we offer!

The first step is lifting the pile and removing any damaged fibers caused during deep cleaning. Next comes horizontal polishing of the carpet. We use equipment that only carpet manufacturers like us have. A very thin layer (just fractions of a millimeter) is shaved off the top. Then, we restore the original sculpted texture – all the carved lines and edges are trimmed several times with a cutting machine to bring back the carpet’s original look.

What if it’s difficult or impossible to bring your carpet to us? No problem – we offer all the same services on-site, at your home. We prepare the workspace carefully to avoid any damage to parquet floors or furniture from cleaning chemicals.

Order carpets from us in any design, size, or shape – and be confident in their long life and future professional care.

We also perform carpet repairs. Here are a couple of photos – this is the “before,” and this is the “after.” More details about carpet repair will be shared in future articles.
